AAA Spray

What is it?

A local anaesthetic preparation, 1.5mg. Benzocaine available as a metered dose spray.

Medical Uses

Pain resulting from sore throat or infected mouth.

Dosage

Adults: 2 sprays, repeated every 2 to 3 hours to a maximum of 16 per 24 hours. Children aged 6+ years: 1 spray repeated every 2 to 3 hours to a maximum of 8 per 24 hours.

Special Care

Pregnancy; breast feeding.

Avoid Use

Children under 6 years old.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Sulfonamide anti bacterial drugs.
