Acnecide

What is it?

An antibacterial and keratolytic preparation containing 5% or 10% of Benzoyl peroxide in an aqueous gel. Available as 60g of gel for application to skin.

Medical Uses

Acne vulgaris.

Dosage

Start with 5% gel and apply to affected area either once or twice a day. Use higher strength if required.

Special Care

Do not allow to come into contact with eyes or mucous membranes.

Known Side Effects

Mild irritation at the start of treatment and peeling of skin.
