Acular
What is it?
A NSAID, ketorolac trometamol, available as drops (0.5%).
Medical Uses
Post-surgical treatment of the eye - prevention and reduction of inflammation and associated symptoms.
Dosage
1 drop 3 times per day for up to 3 weeks starting 24 hours before surgery. Not recommended for children.
Special Care
Peptic ulcers or tendency to bleeding.
Avoid Use
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, soft contact lenses, allergies induced by aspirin or anti-inflammatory drugs.
Possible Drug and Food Interactions
Anticoagulants, antiplatelets.

Blurred vision, eye irritation, temporary stinging.
