Aknemycin Plus

What is it?

An antibiotic, macrolide/ retinoid preparation containing 4% erythromycin and 0.025% tretinoin in solution.

Medical Uses

Acne.

Dosage

All age groups: apply to affected skin once or twice each day; continue treatment for 3 to 4 months.

Special Care

Avoid eyes and skin folds; limit exposure to sunlight or W radiation.

Avoid Use

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, inflamed or irritated skin, sunburn, eczema, rosacea, personal or family history of skin cancer.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Other keratolytic skin preparations, UV light.

Known Side Effects

Skin reactions and irritation, changes in pigmentation.
