What is it?

An immune response modifier, imiquimod, produced as a 5% cream in sachets for once only use.

Medical Uses

External genital and anal warts.

Dosage

Three times weekly at bedtime for up to 16 weeks. Wash off the cream after 6 to 10 hours. If warts recur, do not repeat treatment. Not recommended for children.

Special Care

Avoid open wounds; theelderly, pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Diaphragms, condoms.
