What is it?

An antithrombotic, antiplatelet preparation comprising 75mg aspirin in each white tablet.

Medical Uses

Prevention of secondary thrombotic complications following by-pass surgery.

Dosage

Adults; 1 to 2 tablets taken once each day. Maximum daily dose is 4 tablets.

Special Care

Known allergy to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs, liver or kidney disorder, previous bronchospasm.

Avoid Use

Children, pregnant women near to full-term, breast feeding, bleeding disorders, history of gastrointestinal bleeding, active stomach ulcer, liver or kidney disorder.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Methotrexate, corticosteroids, anticoagulants, NSAIDs, hypoglycaemic drugs, uricosuric preparations, spironolactone.

Known Side Effects

Bleeding in the gut, bronchospasm.
