Anti-D Immunoglobulin
What is it?
1250iu of human anti-D immunoglobuliii per ml as solution for injection in pre-prepared syringe. Usedfor: Rhesuso (D) incompatibility.
Dosage
Pregnant women, to prevent incompatibility; 1250iu by intramuscular injection in weeks 28 and 34 of pregnancy. Following miscarriage or abortion; 1250iu by intramuscular injection during the 72 hours after the event. Haemorrhage that crosses the placenta; 5000iu. by intramuscular injection. Transfusion; 50 to 1OOiu of human anti-D immunoglobuliii per ml of Rho (D) incompatible transfused blood.
Special Care
Women with history of unusual reactions to blood products or detected with igA antibodies in their blood.
