What is it?
A Preparation Containing Bambuterol Hydrochloride Which Is A Selective 132-Agonist Used In The Treatment Of Asthma. Bambec Is Available As Tablets Of 2 Strengths Containing 10mg (Marked A/BM) And 20mg (Marked A/BA). Tablets Are Oval, White And Scored.
Medical Uses
Asthma (Bronchospasm) And Reversible Airways Obstruction.
Dosage
10mg As One Dose Taken At Night Increasing To 20mg Once A Day If Necessary. If The Patient Has Been Used To Treatment With A 132-Agonist, Then 20mg May Be Taken From The Start.
Special Care
Pregnant Women And Breast-Feeding Mothers, Diabetics, Moderate Or Severe Kidney Disorders, Heart Disorders, Thyrotoxicosis. In Cases Of Severe Asthma, Potassium Levels In Blood Should Be Monitored.
Avoid Use
Children.
Possible Drug And Food Interactions
Other β-blockers, Suxamethonium.

Headache, Palpitations, Cramps, Tremor, Hypokalaemia, Skin Reactions.
