Betacap

What is it?

A potent topical steroid preparation for use on the scalp, containing 0.1% betamethasone valerate in solution.

Medical Uses

Inflamed and irritated scalpconditions responsive to steroids.

Dosage

Adults and children over 1 year; apply a small quantity to the scalp at night and in the morning. As condition improves, apply once each day or occasionally, according to need. In seborrhoeic dermatitis, use for a maximum of 7 days.

Special Care

Limit use in young children to a period of 5 days or as advised by doctor.

Avoid Use

Infants under one year; patients with adrenal gland suppression or cushingoid symptoms. Withdraw if allergic reaction or contact dermatitis develop or in the event of infection.
