A Preparation Which Is A β-blocker Containing 0.5% Levobunolol Hydrochloride, Available In The Form Of Eye Drops. Also, BETAGAN UNIT DOSE Containing 0.5% Levobunolol Hydrochloride In Solution, As Single Dose Vials.
Medical Uses
High Blood Pressure Within The Eye, Open-Angle Glaucoma.
Dosage
Adults Only; 1 Drop Into Affected Eye Once Or Twice Each Day.
Special Care
Breastfeeding Women, Diabetes, Patients With Respiratory Disorders.
Avoid Use
Children, Pregnant Women, Some Forms Of Heart Disease, Asthma, Previous Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Possible Drug And Food Interactions
Other, (Systemic) β-blockers, Reserpine.
Known Side Effects
Headache, Local Irritation In Eye, Dizziness, Symptoms Associated With Systemic β-blockers.
