Calpol Paediatric

What is it?

A pain and fever relieving preparation available as a sugar-free suspension containing 120mg of paracetamol per 5ml of liquid. Also, CALPOL SIX PLUS, containing 250mg of paracetamol per 5ml of sugar-free suspension.

Medical Uses

Pain and fever relief.

Dosage

Children under 6 years, use Calpol Paediatric: infants aged 2 to 3 months, 2.5ml; 3months to 1 year, 2.5 to 5ml; 1 to 6 years, 5 to 10ml. Aged over 6 years, use Calpol Six Plus: aged 6 to 12 years, 5 to 10ml; aged over 12 years and adults, 1010 20ml. All doses may be repeated up to 4 times each day.

Special Care

Impaired liver or kidney function.

Avoid Use

Infants aged under 2 months.
