Debrisan

What is it?

A preparation available as paste or beads which has absorbent properties and prevents slough formation over wounds, containing dextranomer.

Medical Uses

Treatment of infected and exudative ulcers and wounds.

Dosage

After cleaning wound with saline solution or sterile water, a 3mrri deep layer of paste or heads is spread over the damp surface and then covered with a suitable dressing. The wound should be treated again before the layer becomes saturated.
