What is it?

A cytoprotectant preparation available as film-coated, white tablets containing 120mg of tripotassium dictratrobismuthate marked gbr 152 and with symbol. Usedfbr: stomach and duodenal ulcers.

Dosage

Adults, either 4 tablets each day swallowed with water half an hour before each of the main meals and the final one 2 hours after the evening meal; or, 2 tablets 2 times each day taken half an hour before breakfast and evening meal. Treatment should continue for Ito 2 months, as necessary.

Avoid Use

Children, kidney disorders.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Tetracyclines.

Known Side Effects

Sickness, vomiting, passageof darkened stools.
