What is it?

An antianginal preparation available as skin patches in two different strengths delivering 5mg or 10mg of glyceryl trinitrate.

Medical Uses

Prevention of angina.

Dosage

Adults, start with 5mg patch placed on suitable area of skin according to doctor's advice. Increase to 10mg patch if necessary. Repeat as advised, applying to new area of skin.

Special Care

Gradually withdraw treatment as advised, replacing with tablets containing decreasing doses of sustained-release nitrates.

Avoid Use

Children.

Rash, headaches, dizziness.
