Dermol

What is it?

An emolient (skin softening) and antibacterial preparation available as a lotion in a pump dispenser containing containing 2.5% isopropyl myrisate, 2.5% liquid paraffin, 0.1% benzalkonium chloride and 0.1% chlorhexidine hydrochloride. Also, DERMOL SHOWER EMOLIENT, containing 2.5% isopropyl myrisate, 2.5% liquid paraffin, 0.1% benzalkonium chloride and 0.1% chlorhexidine hydrochloride. Also, DERMOL BATH EMOLIENT, containing 25% ispropyl myrisate, 25% liquid paraffin and 0.5% benzalkonium chloride.

Medical Uses

Dry, scaly and itchy skin disorders, eczema, dermatitis.

Dosage

Adults and children, dermol and dermol shower emolient, apply to affected skin or use when bathing/showering in place of soap. Dermol bath emolient, add up to 30ml to bath water (15ml in case of babies and young children), and immerse for 5 to 10 minutes.

Special Care

Do not allow contact with eyes.
