Dexa-Rhinaspray Duo

What is it?

A preparation combining a corticosteroid with a sympathomimetic (i. e. something that mimics the effects of organ stimulation by the sympathetic nervous system), available as a metered dose, pump aerosol delivering 120µg of tramazoline hydrochloride and 20µg of dexmethasone-21 isonicotinate.

Medical Uses

Allergic rhinitis (e. g. hay fever).

Dosage

1 dose per nostril up to 6 timesper 24 hours. Children aged 5 to 12years, 1 dose per nostril up to twiceeach day.

Special Care

Not to be used over a prolonged period.

Avoid Use

Children under 5 years old.

Known Side Effects

Nasal irritation.
