Dulcolax

What is it?

A stimulant laxative preparation available as enteric-coated, yellow tablets containing 5mg of bisacodyl. Also, DUCOLAX SUPPOSITORIES, available in two different strengths containing 5mg or 10mg of bisacodyl.

Medical Uses

Constipation, evacuation of bowel before investigative procedure, radiological examination or surgery.

Dosage

Adults and children over 10 years, either 1 or 2 tablets taken at night or Ix 10mg suppository inserted in the morning. Children, aged less than 4 years, 1 x 5mg suppository inserted in the morning; 4 to 10 years, 1 tablet taken at night or 1 x 5mg suppository inserted in the morning.
