What is it?

A bacterial, botulinum, toxin, type A-haemagglutinin complex (500 units as pellets in vial).

Medical Uses

Eyelid and hemifacial spasm, spasmodic torticollis (head tilted to one side due to abnormal contraction of neck muscles). Specialist treatment of foot deformity in cerebral palsy patients aged over 2 years.

Dosage

According to manufacturer's specifications as directed by specialist physicianSpecial cure: only for specialist use; must not be interchanged with other forms of botulinum toxin.

Avoid Use

Pregnancy.

Known Side Effects

Paralysis in muscles next to or near those being treated.
