E45 Bath Oil

What is it?

An emollient preparation available as liquid for adding to the bath containing 91% light liquid paraffin and 5% cetyl dimethicone. Also, E45 WASH CREAM, a thick liquid soap substitute containing 51.5% light liquid paraffin, 28% soft yellow paraffin and 5% zinc oxide.

Medical Uses

Dry skin conditions, itching in elderly persons due to dry skin, eczema, icthyosis, xeroderma.

Dosage

Adults, add 15ml to bath water and immerse for 10 minutes; children, add 5 to 10ml to shallow bath and soak foi 10 minutes. E45 Wash Cream, use a~ necessary on wet skin in place of soap. Also, E45 CREAM, containing 14.5%i soft white paraffin, 12.6% light liquic paraffin and 1% anhydrous lanolin.

Medical Uses

Dermatitis, dry eczema, icthyosis, dry psoriasis.

Dosage

Spread onto affected skin two or three times each day. Also, E45 LOTION, containing 10% soft white paraffin, 4% light liquid paraffin and 1% anhydrous, hypoallergenic lanolin.

Spread on affected skin as and when required.
