Epogam
What is it?
A fatty acid preparation in the form of gelatin caspsules in two strengths containing 40mg or 80mg of gamolenic acid and marked with name. Also, EPOGAM PAEDIATRIC, gelatin capsules containing 80mg and marked EPOGAM.
Medical Uses
Eczema.
Dosage
Epogam, adults, 160 to 240mg twice each day; children over 12 months, 80 to 160mg twice each day. Epogam Paediatric, capsules are snipped open and contents poured onto food, in drink, or swallowed directly. Adults, 2 to 3 capsules twice each day; children, over 1 year, 1 to 2 capsules twice each day.
Special Care
Pregnancy, epilepsy.
Avoid Use
Children under 1 year.
