What is it?

An antipsoriatic preparation available as a fatty acid-based, esterified lotion containing 1% coal tar.

Medical Uses

Psoriasis, including that of the scalp.

Dosage

Adults and children, spread a thin layer onto affected skin and repeat up to 3 times each day. Elderly and infants, dilute lotion with a little water and apply in same way.

Avoid Use

Acne, folliculitis, allergy/sensitivity to light.

Known Side Effects

Irritation, skin sensitivity to light.
