Flomax MR

What is it?

A selective n β-blocker, available as orange/brown sustained- release capsules marked with strength, logo and 701, containing 400µg of tamsulosin hydrochloride.

Medical Uses

Benign enlargement of the prostate gland.

Dosage

Men, 1 each day with water, taken at same time after a meal.

Special Care

Low blood pressure.

Avoid Use

Severe liver disorder, orthostatic hypotension (low blood pressure occurring when a person stands up).

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Other A-blockers.

Known Side Effects

Headache, weakness, palpitations, abnormal ejaculation, dizziness, sneezing, postural hypotension.
