Gammabulin

What is it?

A preparation of 16% human normal immunoglobulin (HNIG) as a solution for intramuscular injection.

Medical Uses

Antibody deficiency syndrome.

Dosage

Adults and children, 0.6ml per kg of body weight by intramuscular injection once a day given at same time for 3 days; then, a maintenance dose of 0.6ml per kg of body weight once each month.

Special Care

History of unusual reactions to blood products, patients testing positive for igA antibodies.
