What is it?

A cytotoxic preparation available as a powder in vials for reconstitution and injection containing 200mg of gemcitabine per gram.

Medical Uses

Chemotherapy; non small-cell cancer of the lung which is locally advanced or has metastasized (spread), pancreatic cancer that is metastatic or locally advanced; 5-FU pancreatic cancer that is difficult to treat; with cisplatin, to treat advanced cancer of the bladder. Dosages etc. consult manufacturer's instructions and under direction of skilled physician.
