Haymine
What is it?
A sympathomimetic and antihistamine preparation available as sustained release, yellow tablets with a hexagon enclosing letter P, containing 10mg of chlorpheniramine maleate and 15mg of ephedrine hydrochloride.
Medical Uses
Allergies.
Dosage
Adults, 1 tablet in the morning and 1 at night, if necessary.
Avoid Use
Children, high blood pressure, thyrotoxicosis (toxicity of thyroid gland), coronary thrombosis.
Possible Drug and Food Interactions
Central nervous sys tem depressants, alcohol, MAOIs.
Known Side Effects
Slowed reactions, dizziness, drowsiness.
