What is it?

A composite treatment pack comprising 14 Zoton tablets each containing 30mg of lansoprazole, 14 Klaricid tablets each containing 500mg of clarithrxmycin and 14 tablets containing 400mg of mettonidazole.

Medical Uses

Elimination of H. pylon bacte ria in patients with duodenal ulcer.

Dosage

Adults, l Zoton tablet, 1 Klaricid tablet and lmetronidazole tablet, twice each day for 1 week.

Special Care

Breastfeeding, liver or kidney disease; rule out cancer as cause of symptoms before treatment starts.

Avoid Use

Children, pregnancy, serious kidney disease.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Digoxin, antacids, oral contraceptives, alcohol, ergot derivatives, zidovudine, phenytoin, cisapride, theophylline, lithium, astemizole, drugs metabolised by P450, sucralfate, cytotoxics, anticoagulants taken by mouth, statins, pimozide, cimetidine, carbamazepine, ritonavir, terfenadine.
