Isotrexin
What is it?
A retinoid and macrolide preparation available as an alcohol- based gel containing 2% erythromycin and 0.05% isotretinoin.
Medical Uses
Mild to moderate acne.
Dosage
Adults, apply thinly to affected skin 1 to 2 times each day and use for at least 6 to 8 weeks.
Special Care
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, avoid mucous membranes, mouth, eyes, damaged or sunburnt areas, build up in skin creases.
Avoid Use
Children.
Possible Drug and Food Interactions
Keratolytics.
