What is it?

A deflatulent, antacid and anticholinergic preparation available as a gel containing 400mg of dried aluminium hydroxide gel, 200mg of magnesium oxide, 5mg of dicyclomine hydrochloride and 40mg of dimethicone per 10ml of gel.

Medical Uses

Wind, stomach ulcer, over-secretion of stomach acid, spasm of gastrointestinal tract.

Dosage

Adults, 10 to 20ml every 4 hours.

Special Care

Enlarged prostate gland, glaucoma.

Avoid Use

Children, obstruction of gastrointestinal tract, obstructive uropathy, myasthenia gravis (a severe autoimmune disorder), serious ulcerative colitis.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Tetracyclines.
