What is it?

A nutritional, modular supplement available as an emulsion which is low in electrolytes containing 50g of fat per 100ml, supplying 450keals per 100ml.

Medical Uses

Steatorrhoea (passing of large quantities of fat in faeces producing frothy, foul-smelling stools) associated with cystic fibrosis of the pancreas, malabsorption disorders, liver cirrhosis and other severe liver diseases, type 1 hyperlipoproteinaemia (in which there are elevated levels of protein and fat in blood), epilepsy being managed by ketogenic diet, as a result of intestinal surgery, lymphangiectasis (dilation of small lymphatic vessels) of intestine.

Dosage

As directed - can be used as substitute for milk.
