What is it?

An antibacterial and corticosteroid, available as ear drops containing 1% clioquinol and 0.02% flumethasone pivalate.

Medical Uses

Inflammation of the outer ear with assumed secondary infection.

Dosage

Adults and children over 2 years, 2 to 3 drops into outer ear passage twice each day for 7 to 10 days.

Special Care

Pregnancy, breastfeeding.

Avoid Use

Children under 2 years, pri mary infections of the outer ear, per forated eardrum.

Known Side Effects

Skin irritation, discolouration of hair.
