What is it?

A preparation of mnonoclonal antibody available as a solution in vials for injection containing 10mg of rituximab per ml.

Medical Uses

Follicular lymphoma (stage III to IV) which has relapsed or is resistant to other chemotherapeutic drugs that have been tried. As part of combination chemotherapy in treatment of CD20 large B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Dosage

Adults, follicular lymphoma, 375mg per metre squared of body surface area once each week by intravenous infusion; large B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, same dose by intravenous infusion on Day 1 of each cycle of chemotherapy after corticosteroid has been given.
