Marcain

What is it?

A local anaesthetic available as a solution in ampoules containing 0.25% or 0.5% of bupivacaine hydrochloride. Also, MARCAIN WITH ADRENALINE, available as a solution in ampoules containing 0.25% or 0.5% of bupivaeaine hydrochloride with adrenaline 1: 200,000. Also, MARCAIN HEAVY, available as a solution in ampoules containing 0.5% bupivacaine hydrochloride and 8% dextrose.

Medical Uses

Marcaine and Marcaine with adrenaline, prolonged local anaesthesia; Marcaine Heavy, spinal anaesthesia.
