What is it?

An antifungal preparation available as a cream containing 1% clotrimazole.

Medical Uses

Vaginitis and balanitis (inflammation and infection of the glans penis) caused by candida (thrush), fungal infections of the skin and nails.

Dosage

Apply 2 to 3 times each day for at least 2 weeks in the case of candida infections and 4 weeks for dermatophyte infections.

Known Side Effects

Rarely, irritation, slight burning, allergic reactions at site of application.
