Maxamum

What is it?

Various nutritional supplements formulated for genetic disorders of metabolism. XP MAXAMUM, an unflavoured or orange-flavoured powder without phenylalanine, containing 47g of essential and non-essential amino acids, 34g of carbohydrate, and less than 0.5g of fat per 100g, supplying 297kca1 per 100g of powder.

Medical Uses

Phenylketonuria. MSUD MAXIMUM, the same formula as XP Maximum but without leucine, isoleucine and valine, supplying 297kca1 per 100g of powder.

Medical Uses

Maple Syrup urine disease. XMET MAXIMUM, the same formula as XP Maximum but without methionine, supplying 297kca1 per 100g of unflavoured powder.

Medical Uses

Hypermethioninaemia or Vitamin B6 non-responsive homocysteinuria. XMET, THEE, VAL, ISOLEU MAXAMUM, the same formula as XP Maxamum but without methionine, valine, threonine and isoleucine supplying 297kca1 per 100g of unflavoured powder.

Medical Uses

Methylmalonic or proprionic acidaemia.

Dosage

For reconstitution with water as directed by specialist.
