What is it?

A laxative preparation which is a lubricant and faecal softener available as a micro-enema containing 45mg of sodium lauryl sulphoacetate, 450mg of sodium citrate and 625mg of glycerol per ml.

Medical Uses

Constipation, clearance of bowel before rectal examination and before and after surgery.

Dosage

Adults and children over 3 years, 1 or 2 enemas, as required, inserted to full extent of applicator nozzle.

Avoid Use

Children under 3 years, acute gastrointestinal disorders, bowel ulceration or inflammation.
