Minims Amethocaine

What is it?

A topical anaesthetic preparation for the eye, in the form of drops in 2 strengths containing 0.5% or 1% amethocaine hydrochloride in single dose units. Used for. anaesthesia for eye during ophthalmic procedures.

Dosage

Adults and children, except newborn babies, 1 drop as required.

Special Care

Protect eye.

Avoid Use

Newborn babies.

Sulfonamides.
