Minims Chloramphenicol

What is it?

A broad-spectrum antibiotic preparation produced in the form of preservative-free, single dose eyedrops containing 0.5% chloramphenicol.

Medical Uses

Bacterial eye infections.

Dosage

Adults, 1 or more drops, asneeded; children, 1 drop as needed.

Special Care

Remove contact lenses.

Possible Drug and Food Interactions

Chymotrypsin.

Known Side Effects

Rarely, aplsstic anaemia. Stop treatment immediately if local allergic reactions occur.
