Modrasone
What is it?
A fairly potent topical steroid preparation available as cream and ointment containing 0.05% alclometasone diproprionate. Usedfor: skin conditions which respond to steroids.
Dosage
Apply thinly 2 or 3 times each day.

Apply to affected skin 2 or 3 times each day.
Special Care
Should not be used on face or on children for more than 5 days. Should be stopped gradually.
Avoid Use
Prolonged or extensive use especially pregnant women or continual use as a preventative. Should not be used to treat acne, leg ulcers, scabies, pen-oral dermatitis, tuberculous skin conditions, skin disorders caused by viruses, ringworm, any untreated bacterial or fungal skin infections.
Known Side Effects
Thinning of skin, adrenal gland suppression, hair growth, Cushingoid type symptoms (Cushing's syndrome).
