Monoparin

What is it?

An anticoagulant preparation of heparin sodium available as 1000, 5000 and 25,000 units per ml in single dose ampoules. Also, MONOPARIN CA, containing 25,000 units of heparin calcium per ml.

Medical Uses

Treatment of pulmonary embolism, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), angina which is unstable, in extracorporeal circulation and haemodialysis - to treat acute occlusion of peripheral arteries, following heart attack, to prevent mural thrombosis. For Dosages etc. , manufacturer's literature should be consulted.
