Neosporin

What is it?

A peptide and aminoglyeoside, available as eye drops containing 5000 units of polymixin B sulphate, 1700 units of neomycin sulphate and 25 units of gramicidin per ml.

Medical Uses

Bacterial eye infections, prevention of infections in the eye before and after surgery, removal of foreign bodies from the eye.

Dosage

1 or 2 drops, 2 to 4 times each day.

Special Care

Do not allow access to fluids within eye.
