Neupogen

What is it?

A recombinant human granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF), filgrastim, available as 30 million units in a single dose vial, for specialist use. Also, NEUPOGEN SINGLEJECT, available in pre-prepared syringes in two strengths containing 60 million units or 96 million units of filgrastin per ml. Usedfor: reduction of neutropenia during cytotoxic chemotherapy and after bone marrow transplantation. Other forms of severe and persistent neutrpoenia, mobilisation of peripheral blood progenitor cells (PBPCs). For Dosages etc. consult manufacturer's literature.
