Novomix 30

What is it?

A biphasic, insulin preparation available as a solution in cartridges for use with pen device and in pre loaded pens, containing 30% soluble insulin aspart and 70% protamine insulin aspart.

Dosage

Usually self-administered by subcutaneous injection and given immediately before a meal, or sometimes, just afterwards. Amounts are according to individual patient requirements.

Known Side Effects

Any adverse side effects must be reported to the Committee on the Safety of Medicines (CSM).
