Nubain
What is it?
An analgesic and opiate, available as a solution in ampoules containing 10mg of nnlbuphine hydrochloride per ml.
Medical Uses
Moderate to severe pain, pre- and post-operative pain relief. Pain associated with suspected heart attack.
Dosage
Pain, 10 to 20mng by intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection; heart attack, 10 to 30mg by slow intravenous injection, followed, within 30 minutes, by another 20mg if necessary. Children, up to 0.3mg per kg of body weight by intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, at first, repeated up to two times, if required.
Special Care
Pregnancy, labour, liver or kidney disease, head injury, respiratory depression, history of opioid abuse.
Possible Drug and Food Interactions
Depressants of the CMS.

Sweating, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, sedation.
