Nutrison Standard

What is it?

Nutritionally complete liquid feed, lacking gluten and lactose and containing 4g of protein, 12.3g of carbohydrate and 3.9g of fat per 100ml and supplying 100kcal per 100ml. Also, NUTRISON ENERGY, lacking gluten and lactose and containing 6g of protein, 18.5g of carbohydrate and 5.8g of fat per 100ml and supplying 150kcal per 100ml. Also, NUTRISON MULTIFIBRE, as standard formula but with addition of 1.5g of dietary fibre per 100ml. Also, NUTRISON ENERGY MULTI FIBRE, same as Nutrison Energy but with addition of 1.5g of dietary fibre. Also, NUTRISON SOYA, same as standard preparation but with soya protein.

Medical Uses

All preparations except Nutrison Soya, standard ACBS conditions (malnutrition, malabsorption, intolerance etc). Those with added fibre are unsuitable for patients with fistula of bowel. Nutrison Soya: intolerance to protein in cow's milk, intolerance to lactase.

Special Care

No preparations should be used as sole source of fond in children aged between 1 and 6 years.

Avoid Use

Infants less than 12 months old.
