What is it?

An NSAID preparation available in the form of eyedrops containing 2% sodium cromoglycate.

Medical Uses

Allergic conjunctivitis, both acute and chronic, vernal keratoconj unctivitis.

Dosage

1 or 2 drops in both eyes 4 times each day.

Avoid Use

Patients wearing soft contact lenses.

Known Side Effects

Burning, stinging sensation in eye which is of short-lived duration.
