Oruvail Gel

What is it?

An NSAID which is a propionic acid available in the form of a gel containing 2.5% ketoprofen.

Medical Uses

Sports injuries, painful injuries to muscles, bones, strains, sprains, bruises, etc.

Dosage

Adults, 15g each day in 2 to 4 divided doses for up to 1 week; massage affected area after applying gel.

Special Care

Pregnancy, avoid mucousmembranes, eyes and broken skin.

Avoid Use

Breastfeeding, children, patients with known allergy to NSAID or aspirin, history of asthma.

Known Side Effects

Slight local irritation of skin.
