What is it?

An electrolyte supplement combining phosphorus and calcium, available as film-coated, buff coloured tablets containing hydroxypatite compound. Also, OSSOPAN GRANULES, 3.32g available in sachets with cocoa flavouring, containing hydroxypatite compound.

Medical Uses

Calcium and phosphorus supplementation in rickets, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, breastfeeding.

Dosage

Adults, 4 to 8 tablets in divided doses before meals, or 1 to 2 sachets before or with food, each day. Children, consult manufacturer.

Special Care

Kidney disease, previous kidney stones, prolonged immobilisation.

Avoid Use

High levels of calcium in blood or urine.
