What is it?

A colorectal preparation combining a steroid and local anaesthetic available in the form of a metered dose spray containing 0.2% hydrocortisone and 1% lignocaine hydrochloride.

Medical Uses

Pain and itching in anal area.

Dosage

2 sprays up to 3 times each day. For short-term use only.

Special Care

Pregnancy.

Avoid Use

Patients with infections offungal, viral and bacterial origin.

Known Side Effects

Systemic corticosteroid ef fects, e. g. changes as in Cushing'ssyndrome.
