Powergel

What is it?

An NSAID available as a gel containing 2.5% ketoprofen.

Medical Uses

Soft tissue injuries, strains and sprains - to relieve pain and inflammation.

Dosage

Adults, 5 to 10cm of gel applied over affected area and rubbed in, 2 to 3 times each day for up to 10 days. Area should then be massaged for a short time.

Special Care

Pregnancy, breastfeeding, kidney disorders.

Avoid Use

Children, allergy to NSAID or aspirin, asthma.

Known Side Effects

Mild irritation where gel is applied.
