Praxilene

What is it?

A preparation that is a peripheral and cerebral activator which improves the use of glucose and oxygen by the tissues, increasing the level of ATP (the energy molecules of cells) and decreasing lactic acid levels. It is available as pink capsules containing 100mg of naftidrofuryl oxalate. All are marked LIPHA and PRAXILENE.

Medical Uses

Disorders of cerebral and peripheral arteries.

Dosage

Adults, 1 or 2 tablets 3 times each day.

Avoid Use

Children, history of recurring calcium-containing stones or high levels of oxalic acid in urine.

Known Side Effects

Nausea, rashes, stomach ache. In rare cases, kidney stones, liver toxicity.
